Our consultants will assist you in finding data on Latvia and other countries. Consultations are provided free of charge and within the shortest possible time.
If the required data are not available on the official statistics portal, meaning they are not included in the Official Statistical Programme, it may still be possible to prepare or calculate them. Our consultant will provide information on the cost and estimated preparation time.
Pricelist of chargeable services
The data will be prepared after your confirmation is received and delivered after payment of the invoice.
Prepared data can be received:
- electronically via email or e-address (signed with a secure e-signature);
- at the CSB office;
- by post.
Information on requests for individual data outside the Official Statistics Programme
Research data, also individual data or microdata, are data on individuals, households or enterprises available from surveys, population censuses and registers.
Anonymized individual data may only be used for scientific and research purposes. Research results must provide benefit to society.
To request access to the data, send a research application to research@csp.gov.lv.
The request must be accompanied by a completed application form describing:
- the research project;
- the need for indirectly identifiable data for the research;
- measures for protecting confidential data.

Public authorities can request data for research or other policy and public service planning needs through a single contact point at the Central Statistical Bureau.
Our consultants will assess the request, combine data from the necessary registers and provide access through a secure data processing environment.
To request access to the data, send an application to pasts@csp.gov.lv or via e-address.
The application includes:
- legal basis for data processing;
- purpose and expected outcome of the data processing;
- required data;
- compliance with the data minimisation principle;
- planned processing period;
- persons involved in the data processing, e.g., data users;
- responsible contact person and authorised persons.
Under the Consumer Rights Protection Law (Section 19², Paragraph 1) and Cabinet Regulation No 508 (Paragraph 6), developers of food price monitoring tools and other interested parties may obtain access to data submitted by retailers.
